One For The Readers

Hey Readers! Had a little free time in my schedule today, so I thought I'd reach out to you all! I can't believe It's been 4 months since I started this blog! I'm astonished each and every time I sign in and see how many of you are visiting the blog and reading! (And from so many countries around the world!) I've posted once before about "Ghost Readers" and I'm doing it again! lol :)

If you're reading this, I want you to comment and tell me:

-What's your favorite line and/or scene so far.
-What would you like to see happen?
-Who is your favorite supporting character?
-Are you a US reader or international? What state/country are you from?

Any and all constructive criticism is welcomed! I write this blog for my readers. I want everyone to thoroughly enjoy what they're reading. So, if there's any improvements I can make, let me know! You all are amazing! :)

  1. My favorite supporting characters are kadie and jonah. I enjoy that I dislike a lot of lynn's decision concerning connor but I still feel for her when she gets all confused! I feel emotionally invested in lynn which shows how fabulous your writing skills are :)
I am from ontario canada and have been reading since you started and i am very much addicted though I rarely comment
    Thanks for the entertaining read!!

    1. Hey Brit, thanks so much for commenting! Lynn is a work in progress. She's experiencing life, fully, for the first time so she definitely has some kinks to work out. I'm glad you can still relate to her even when you don't agree with her decisions. Believe it or not, that means a lot to me as a writer! Thank you for being one fabulous reader from Ontario! :)

  2. My favorite scene is her reunion with Jonah. Jonah is also my favorite supporting character. I would really like to see her and Jonah eventually be together. I totally see why she can't be with him now but they should be together. Maybe they should keep in touch to maintain a connection.

Love your blog and I'm reading it from Los Angeles :D

Both Jonah reunion posts (The L Word, and Coffee Run) are some of my favorites too! Glad you enjoyed it, much love!

    2. If I see Jonah then there's no way I'm sending him back. You would have to start writing a different blog about Jonah's new life with me!

I was planning on keeping it short and sweet but then I ended up writing one of the longest posts I've written lol. Thanks for reading and getting involved!

  4. I don’t know if I’m really considered a “ghost reader” since I try to comment on most of the posts. But oh well, I’m going to do this anyways lol. I loved the Valentine’s Day reunion with Jonah. I have a huge soft spot for love stories, so I really enjoyed that post. Obviously, I would love to see Jonah come back. If I’m being totally honest, I kinda want Jonah and Lynn to get married and have babies so yeahhhh. Lol jk! I mean, that would be great if that happened someday, but I just really do love them together! I read so many blogs and I’ve always wanted to see a relationship from the beginning of the blog be the one that wins out in the end, against all odds. My favorite supporting character is Jaime. I hated him in the beginning, but I’ve become very fond of the way his friendship has grown with Lynn.

I think I’ve mentioned this to you before, but I’m from LA! I keep wishing Jonah were real so that I could track him down and tell him to go back to New York and fight for Lynn! Or maybe I’d just keep him to myself… a girl can dream, right? ;) Anyways, you really are an amazing writer. When I’m having a stressful day, reading about Lynn and her adventures always makes me happier. You should be very proud of how many invested readers you have in this blog. You have the ability to make your readers connect with the characters you’ve created and feel emotions through your writing and that is an incredible accomplishment. Keep up the amazing work!

    1. Hi Holly! :) I'm glad that you commented because I love when you do! Your words are always so kind and reassuring.

I have to agree, I'm s huge romantic sap myself! (I guess it's evident by all the Jonah posts lol)

I'm happy I was able to keep Jaime in the story. And that his character has been receiving so much positive feedback. He's definitely one of my favorite new supporting characters.

Seriously, it means so much to me when I hear you say that you're invested. I never use to share my work before because I didn't know if people would relate to it. Knowing that a tiny world that I've created is a sanctuary to so many of you all is uplifting! Thanks again for being such a awesome reader :)

  5. I have been reading from the very beginning and love how your writing has improved and matured! The story line flows well. My favorite supporting character...??? I am not sure, it was Kady, but we don't hear much from her these days. I think Jamie may be a good friend to Lynn but I think that relationship was a little "rushed", need more time for the trust factor to "be there".
I was born and raised in South Louisiana but now live in Boerne, Texas! Keep up the good work!

    1. Hey Erin, thanks for commenting! I've been trying to take in everyone's critiques and improve the blog over the last few months. So, I'm glad you've picked up on it! I feel what you're saying about Jaime. I'm trying to find a post that I can wedge in a little more time with his character. And now that you mention it, I should probably do the same for Kadie! :P Did you just recently move to Boerne? If so, you've got to go to San Marcos! Their shopping is to die for! Thanks for sticking with Lynn from the beginning :)

  6. I found you blog through lovesexpizzablog and I quite like it. I don't have many... Ok any girl friends so this is as close as it gets for me! I don't think I have a favorite part yet but I like Kadie and Lynn's friendship. I think Sarah is my favorite supporting character. I like Jonah and Lynn but the story is too new for them to end up together... Yet anyway. I'm sure there will be lots more drama before that happens!

I'm a reader from Saskatchewan and we don't have cities like NY here... Heck the population of Saskatchewan could fit in NY a few times over! It's exciting to read about it!

    1. Hi! First, thanks for commenting. And second, you have Lynn, Kadie, Sarah...and most importantly, ME! lol I promise we can be girlfriends and gossip as long as you continue to comment so that I know you're there :)

I agree with your comment about Jonah. There's only been a couple of characters I've been giddy writing about and Sarah was most definitely one of them. I think since there has been a development of so many new characters that she's been overlooked in more recent posts. But, I will write more posts involving Sarah, so keep in touch with Lynn! :) Thank you for reading all the way from Saskatchewan!

  7. Hey!
I just found your blog last week, and I spent about 4 hours the night I found it reading every post. Love it!
I realllllly like Jonah's character and would like to see more of him. I'm not a huge Connor fan but I do like the drama that he's been creating.
I also really like Sarah and would like it if we found out more about her personal life.

  9. I'm not a ghost reader, but I'm commenting anyway cuz I think I'm supposed to.

While I was pissed when she was doing it, Lynn trying to have the date with both Jonah and Connor at the restaurant was pretty entertaining. The wait staff didn't know what the hell to do.

I don't know what I want to see happen, If Jonah comes back, then they'll be a couple and it could get monotonous. If he doesn't, we'll miss him. She can't keep having just a booty call with Connor. I don't think she can handle it emotionally.

Favorite supporting character: Jamie cracks me up even though I freaking hated him. I'm thinking Jonah's sis could become Lynn's new roommate when she's in town. That could mix things up and we could get to know more about her.

You're very honest and I appreciate that. Thanks for sticking around :)

    2. LMAO! I forget why I went with mum so many years ago when I started reading blogs. But no, I'm just a 41 year old woman, married, two kids (14 yr old girl & 9 yr old boy) working full-time, just started a side business in direct sales, am very involved in my church, and spend lots of time running my kids to and fro. Nothing British about me. However, I am enamored of the Royal Family for some reason. I watched Will & Kate's wedding here at work and kept having to minimize my screen when people would walk by my cube...LOL! I also loved Princess Di.

I like all of the surprised that you have come up with so far. My favorite character so far has to be Jamie. I love how real he is and makes Kate think clearly about whats really going on. My favorite seen so far has to be of Kate crawling on the floor while having Connor and Jonah at the same restaurant. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!

My favourite scene is when Lynn, Connor and Jonah were at the same restaurant.

What would you like to see happen?
I would love to see Connor and Lynn get together properly because even though he can be a d*ck sometimes, I think he is a good person.

Who is your favorite supporting character?
    Connor!

  14. So I'm definitely a ghost reader. I have followed your story since day 1 without fail. I can honestly say I've loved so many of your post to choose just one favourite. I will say I like both Kadie and Jamie because they call Lynn out on her crap even if she doesn't really wanna hear it, I think it helps keep her grounded. I'm excited to see what happens with Jonah but also what about a trip back home for a holiday? Nothing like visiting friends and family hanging out at a bar & right when Lynn is enjoying herself and carefree in walks the Ex. Lol maybe or maybe not who knows. I've been reading the blog from the beginning, found it on LoveSexPizza blog.
My favourite scene was the one in the restaurant with both Connor and Jonah, I thought that was crazy hilarious.
Would like Lynn to remember that she wanted to take it easy and not jump into anything too quickly after her breakup with the guy from home. Its actually a good thing that Jonah is in another city for a while, gives her time to just be, which I think important after ending a long term relationship.

I really look forward to your posts and love love the blog, keep up the excellent writing!!

I've only been reading the blog for a few weeks, but so glad I found it! I would, as many others, say that one of my favorite moments is the reunion with Jonah probably because I'm a sucker for romance. But also the restaurant with Jonah and Connor was great, so funny! I'm hoping for Jonah to move back so they can be together, but have to say, if it hadn't been for Jonah, I would like her to be with Connor, I think he deep down is a good guy that maybe just protects his own heart?

I love the connection that Lynn and Jonah have, I wish he moves back soon so they can be together. Connor on the other hand I could care less about. I would not mind seeing Lynn end things with him. I like the friendship that Lynn and Jaime have, I used to hate his character.

  20. I am certainly one of these ghost readers! I stumbled on your blog about two months ago and spent the evening catching up on all the posts. Now I look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays to see what will happen next. So far, the L Word has been my favorite post. However, as much as I love Jonah, Connor is my favorite supporting character. I just love the storyline that you really can't judge a book by its cover. He seems to be an amazing person, and maybe there's even more to his story that explains his behavior towards Lynn. I just love the mystery. Thanks for taking time out of your day to keep us all entertained!

  27. Well i think i'm suppose to start answering your question ;)
I start reading your blog from the second post i'm already hook up with this.
My favorite line or scene definitely is when you introduce us to Jonah, i think he is charming, a true gentleman :). i totally picture Jonah like Bradley Cooper :) who agree with me ?

I Don't agree with everyone else, i know Lynn and Jonah makes the perfect couple. but what fun it would be if she settles down at this point of the story with him. I want Lynn to have fun as any other girl her age.

What i would like to see happen is Lynn being mature enough so she can see and make the right decisions without hurting anyone.

Who is my favorite supporting character? i would say is Connor. when you meet Dr. Cassidy i totally picture him like Patrick Dempsey, for some reason (i know is odd, but a girl can dream right ?).
I think if Lynn apologize to Connor and He gives her an opportunity to her, and we can see more of the great guy that he is. Hopefully the story will develop that way .

I love your blog as i stated before, it gives you a perspective from the real world. I would love if you can start giving us a Friday post every week . (i can sign a petition ) haha j/k i know you are busy with school, but i think is long way from Wednesday to Monday (Think about it).

  29. Total ghost writer here! I started reading due to someone mentioning it on the lovepizzasex blog. Thank you for giving me a girly guilty pleasure to look forward to during the week!

I think I might be the only one who thinks this, but I loved when Lynn got all sloppy drunk at the medical conference and Jaime made up the story of her being a hot mess. It sounds mean, but sometimes it's refreshing to see people misbehaving!

Though Lynn and Jonah are adorable, I'd like to see her nice and single. It makes for more entertaining reading!

My favorite supporting character is Kadie as she doesn't take Lynn's shit and I identify with her more than Lynn. I'm bummed she's moving out already!

Though I'm from the US originally I'm currently reading from Thailand (so this blog is more of a Tuesday/Thursday thing for me... also why I'm super late to the game with this post of yours).

Thanks for providing entertainment during the work week!

    1. Hi, Alice! That's exactly what I was thinking. I wanted to show, that even though Lynn tries to act perfect, she isn't. She gets slopping drunk like the rest of us! lol Are you in Thailand for business or pleasure? Either way, sounds like a lot of fun! Thanks for keeping up :)

  30. I thoroughly enjoy the blog so far!! Not sure who is my favorite supporting character! Jonah is so sweet but Connor is more realistic to me as a guy! I don't know many guys I don't want to strangle every so often. They tend to be self centered!! I really liked the restaurant scene w the 2 guys & the doctors visit to Connor & the L word. Lynn getting caught by daddy was extremely funny.
I am a mom of two boys and I am thrilled to know I am not on the dating scene. Been married 9 years and so I can live vicariously through Lynn. I don't get to read on the days you post depending on my schedule but I really enjoy it! Lynn reminds me of single friends I had!!
    I am a Georgia Peach!
Thanks for all your hard work!!

    1. Hey Amy! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I totally agree with you! I haven't met a guy yet and I didn't want to strange for doing or saying something ridiculous! And I definitely tried to put those realistic qualities in Connor. I'm happy you found a good guy and tied him down! :) All the good ones must be hiding in Georgia, cause I can't seem to find them here! lol Well, thanks for continuing to read on your down time. It means a ton! :)

  31. I have followed this blog from the very beginning and of the 5 I read, this is my very favorite! Love Lynn's story, and love that she is "growing up" as we read. I don't know why but I really like Connor.. He seems so sexy! Can't wait to see where the story goes next!

    1. Hi! I really wanted to show Lynn's growing process rather than starting off with her having learned from previous mistakes. So I appreciate that you enjoy that aspect. Thanks for keeping up! :)

Found it at lsp blog, got interested when you said Lynn is a medical student..coz so am I!! N her messed up busy life is totally believable coz I know u''ll agree when I say, that a medical student, especially a girl, can multitask like hell!
I totally luv d way u portray her as a confused, vulnerable yet so confident :) ofcourse when there r friends lik kadie n Jamie by her side, there's nothing to worry abt! Jonah always sounds too good to b true ;)
I am very impressed wid how ur growin so Wel as a writer! Keep it goin! Make us all happy! Lots of love :)

    1. Hey! I really wanted to show Lynn growing as a person and honestly, who isn't confused and vulnerable at that age? Especially us med school students LOL I'm glad you agree with her lifestyle. I for one know it is merely impossible in today's world to not juggle a million things at one time. Hell, sometimes I get bored if I don't have a million things to do! lol anyway thank you for the kind words truly appreciate them! :)

  35. I'm usually a "ghost reader" but thought I would start to comment.
My favourite scene was when Lynn discovered Jamie was gay. I didn't see that coming and it was entertaining how she found out.

My favourite supporting character is Kadie because she's a great friend to Lynn.
